Keswick Keswick

A Floral Paradise

It was obvious for Lizzie & Michael’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, April 27th, that our bride LOVES flowers!!!! That might be an understatement as you look at these photos. There are so many of my favorite things I have blogged about before in this wedding so let’s begin.

First, their welcome table. I just love this newspaper program versus the traditional type. Being able to see photos and read about how they met, more information on their wedding party, etc. Most people don’t know anything about the wedding party, so it is nice to read that the Maid of Honor has been a friend since grade school and stuff like that. I also like the cute little word search on the back. ☺

Their ceremony location had guests facing Edgewood Estate. Florals were placed inside the fountain as well as along the aisle. In this ceremony location, we can “hide” our bride and her father, so they make their entrance from the vineyard behind the guests while the rest of the wedding party came from the front. It is always just a nice, little surprise for the guests and gives our bride this long, grand entrance.

After the ceremony guests made their way to cocktail hour in the East lawn of Edgewood Estate. Another one of my favorite things was there. I just love having this phone that people can leave a personal voice message for the couple. Lizzie and Michael took it up a notch and had their phone in a miniature phone booth on a table! And yes, adorned with flowers.

Also in the cocktail lawn area was a flower cart. Yes, a flower cart full of so many different types of bouquets. Inside the bouquets were the table assignments. I’ve never seen this, and it was just so cute!

When it was time to enter the tent, guests were greeted with a floral arch entrance framing the reception tent. Hanging above the dance floor was a very large floral arrangement that just looked spectacular as the couple danced under it. Just look at all the little details at each table. I got the feel of Beauty and the Beast from flowers under a glass dome to dragonfly napkin rings draped across the plate with menu cards. Just look at the arrangement of floral and multi-color candle sticks on each table. I think it was very obvious to all the love these two had for flowers.

The food was amazing from passed appetizers to a delicious cake. And then for a late-night snack, French fries! And did I mention our bride wore 3 different dresses???? There was just so much to this wedding that I could write about it forever, but I think you get the point by now. This wedding really was about all these little details that I hope each of their guests noticed and appreciated. I know I did!

Arielle & Jacoby’s Wedding Opens 2024 Season

Keswick Vineyards 2024 wedding season started on Saturday, April 20th, with the marriage of Arielle & Jacoby. To assure a beautiful wedding day, Arielle & Jacoby did the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon as it sure did work! The weather was just perfect! Blue skies, the warmth of the sun and a breeze to keep everyone comfortable.

Arielle chose pink and purple as her wedding colors. The gardens of Keswick Vineyards must have heard because they were blooming with pink and white azaleas, pink rose bushes, and purple lilac trees. Her florist did an amazing job creating very large floral arrangements to grace the front of the ceremony fountain. I also liked the simplicity of the flowers on the reception tables. Versus having one large centerpiece, multiple smaller bud vases were used. The large florals for the ceremony were repurposed to decorate the front of their sweetheart table and DJ table along with the stairs leading down to the tent.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the East Lawn of Edgewood Estate. They enjoyed both stationary and passed appetizers. And look at this adorable cocktail sign showcasing their pet cats. You also will see a sneak peak of their cats on their wedding cake too!

What also made cocktail hour, and their ceremony, extra special was that Jacoby’s father, who is a musician, played his trumpet. Arielle’s entrance to the ceremony was a solo from Jacoby’s father as well as their exit song. At cocktail hour, he was joined by two other musicians to entertain everyone with some really great jazz music!

As you can see by these photos, this was one gorgeous wedding and everything was just perfect! What a wonderful way to start our very busy 2024 wedding season. Thank you, Arielle, Jacoby and all their family and friends for making our first wedding such a success!
