The Sweetest Wedding
Alyssa and Edward were married at Keswick Vineyards on June 25th, 2022. From the second this couple arrived on property you could see how excited they were to finally say I do! I mean just look at these two! You can see the pure joy and excitement on their faces!
I really loved the design of their welcome sign. It looked like it could have been the cover of a fairytale book!
I have to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to their florist, Willow Branch, for the stunning floral arbor they created. This was such a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony. I mean who doesn’t love over the top florals! It also made for such a gorgeous photo opportunity for the couple and their guests!
Alyssa and Edward got blessed with beautiful weather on their wedding day but it was for sure a hot day! They decided to have a Moo Thru Ice Cream Truck come on property as late night treat! Such a fun detail to our summer weddings! Who doesn’t love ice cream in the summertime!

Alyssa & Diyar say I Do!!!
Alyssa & Diyar said their I Do’s on Saturday, June 18th, at Keswick Vineyards. What a difference a day makes in the weather. Yesterday’s wedding started with temperatures reaching 96 degrees and dropping to 80 within an hour. That crazy weather front brought nothing but blue skies, no humidity, and a gorgeous day to be married for these two and to think, they didn’t even bury a bottle of bourbon.
Alyssa & Diyar decided not to physically have their pets at their wedding but instead, named their cocktail drinks after each of them and included a picture to make sure they were somehow at their wedding.
You definitely could tell that family was extremely important to these two. I just love how their head table was set more intimate and included the two of them along with both sets of parents and their siblings. It just had that dinner at home feeling which I just loved.
Food was also a big part of this wedding and their caterer, L’Etoile, hit it out of the ballpark! From service, to presentation, to taste; it was superb! And then there was dessert which is always my favorite part. I loved how they utilized the space in our gazebo which is adjacent to our reception tent. They had a coffee/tea station and then in the middle of the gazebo a unique shaped shelfing unit with desserts displayed on it. Everyone adored and devoured it!

It's A Small World
When Marjory and Duncan came to tour Keswick Vineyards as a possible wedding venue, they had no idea how small of a world it is. It just so happens that the grooms mother grew up on the same island in Michigan that I did. Not only were we from the same island, but the mother was a classmate of my sister, and I was a classmate too of a younger sibling & his wife. So, you can imagine when their wedding day came, how excited I was to see some of my fellow “islanders”!
Marjory & Duncan’s wedding day started out as an extremely hot & humid day. The temperature was topping off at 96 degrees with lots of humidity. In preparation for this hot weather, the family had rented some additional cooling fans for the tent and supplied some cool packs for guests to use if needed. What no one was expecting was this cold front that was coming to come late afternoon to cool everything off. We went from 96 degrees to 80 within 45 minutes! Of course, that did mean some rain, but I think everyone would agree that having the ceremony under the tent, regardless of the weather, was a good choice to keep everyone a little more comfortable. And as you can see by the smile and happiness on our bride’s face, I think she was still thrilled with her ceremony and the rain was gone before anyone really knew it was there.
I really like the head table and how they had it set up. Having a long head table with candles and florals is one of my favorite looks. To dress it up a little bit more they added a little couch for them to sit on. They also created a little “living room” space under the tent for guests to relax in. And another favorite they did is having guests sign a matt border that surrounds a special photo.
Finishing off the night, the men really enjoyed their cigars! What a way to close out such a memorable, reunion kind of wedding day. Congratulations to Marjory & Duncan and thanks for letting Keswick Vineyards be such an important part of your lives. Please come back to visit!

A Groom with a Priceless Reaction
Dakota and Jacob were married at Keswick Vineyards on June 11th, 2022. The couple decided not to do a first look and actually had Jacob turned around until Dakota made her way to the top of the aisle. To say that his reaction to seeing her for the first time was priceless would be an understatement. Take a look at the raw emotion he felt when seeing his bride for the first time!
The couple also decided to have their entire bridal party in all black and white. This classic look compliments the Edgewood Estate perfectly and truly never gets old. We loved how classic and timeless everything for their wedding was!
Another incredible aspect of their wedding day was the gorgeous floral arch they got married in front of! Blue Ridge Floral went above and beyond to make this floral arch look exactly the way Dakota wanted it as florals were extremely important to her on her wedding day! This arch not only was a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony but made for wonderful photo opportunities after the ceremony!
What a beautiful day it was! We feel honored to have hosted their wedding! A special thank you to their vendors:
