Going With The Flow | Jennifer & Grant
On Saturday, August 31st, Jennifer & Grant were married at Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mother Nature has been giving this area a lot of rain this summer and she ran a little interference in the time line for this wedding. We all kept a close eye on the radar and it was unfortunately showing us that the ceremony time we would be hit with a thunderstorm. After speaking to Jennifer, she decided she would wait out the storm so she could still have her dream outdoor wedding amongst the vineyard. So, that is what we did. After an hour delay, the skies cleared and we were back on tract to having a beautiful outdoor ceremony! The positive to that storm was it cooled everything down and gave us a beautiful sky for a back drop. Just want to share my favorite part of this wedding. They had a custom wine box made that was engraved with their names and wedding date. Inside that wine box was a special bottle of Keswick Vineyards wine and love letters they wrote to each other. During the ceremony they nailed it close and will open it again on their 5th anniversary. What a great idea! Thank you to Jenni, Grant and all their guests for being able to just go with the flow of Mother Nature. The rest of the evening was beautiful!
Thank you to the following vendors: Wedding Planner Cinda Hoege of White Birch Events, Photographer C. Tyler Corvin, Caterer Glorious Foods, DJ Dennis Payne, Musicians for ceremony Belle Arte, Hair & Make-up by Bristles Salon, Flowers by Natalie, Chandler’s Bakery for the wedding cake, rentals by MS Events and buses by A Goff.
Laura & Joshua's Wedding Day | Laura & Joshua
Congratulations to Laura & Joshua who were married Saturday, August 24th, at Keswick Vineyards. By far, they had the most amazing beautiful weather for their day. Laura's father credits it to burying that bottle of bourbon 30 days before the wedding day. So far, all our wedding couples that have done that have scared any bad weather away so I highly recommend doing it. I love the flower arrangements done by Blue ridge Floral Design. The softness and elegance of the colors were breathtaking. That, along with the beauty of Laura (Joshua looked pretty good too), you couldn't help but lose your breath at the beauty of this wedding. Laura and Joshua chose to hang some Asian lanterns over the dance floor inside the Sperry tent. I also love the sophistication of their wedding cake with flowers to adorn it.
Special thanks to the following vendors for providing such exceptional service to make this wedding extra special: Caterer Harvest Moon, DJ Andy Wilfong of Party Masters, Photographer Natalie Bell, Hair Stylist Jen Skirloff, Florist Blue Ridge Floral Design, Pastry Chef Chandler’s Bakery, Officiant and Brides Uncle Wistar Nelligan, Jr. and Skyline Tent Company. Jessica & John's Wedding Day | Jessica & John
On Saturday, August 10th, Jessica & John were married at Keswick Vineyards by Officiant Brian Purcell. Mother Nature delivered us an amazing day with beautiful blue skies and a slight breeze and cooler weather. Jessica looked amazing, and so did John, but I thought their dog was just adorable preceding Jessica down the aisle wearing a sign saying "Here Comes The Bride". Jessica & John knew how to make a grand entrance to their reception. They, along with the rest of their wedding party, performed a dance that definitely set a tone for the rest of the evening.
Thanks to the following vendors for providing such wonderful service: Caterer Glorious Foods, DJ Greg Tutwiler, Photographer Aaron Watson, Bright Frame Films, Florist Sweet Magnolias, Officiant Brian Purcell, Pastry Chef Sweethaus, Make-up and hair by Jeanne Cusick, Charlottesville Public School Buses, Event Planner Amanda Heath, Rentals by MS Events, Skyline Tent Company and Musician Kayce McGehee. Most Out Of Town Guests Wedding | Amber & Andrew
Congratulations to Amber & Andrew who were married at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, August 3rd. It was amazing to find out how many different states and countries that their guests traveled from to attend their wedding. Some that I can remember were: New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, Iowa, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington State, Canada, Brazil & Chili. There were probably more that I just can't remember. And let me say, these guests came to party! I've never seen a dance floor stay packed for the entire reception like I did on this evening. Usually a lot of guests hang out near the bar and watch people dance. Not this group. They came to dance and have a great time. In the middle of the reception Amber and Andrew were serenaded by a group of their friends to the theme from Beauty and the Beast but with different lyrics. It was awesome! One of my favorite details from this wedding was how they numbered their reception tables. For every table number, they matched a photo of each of them at that age. So, for table #6, there would be a picture of Amber at 6 and a picture of Andrew at age 6. What a great idea!
Their wedding couldn't of been possible without the following vendors: 20 South Catering, Event Planner Barb Wired, DJ TD Layman of Sound Enforcement, Photographer Ashley Whitlow, Florist Verde Natural Florals, Pastry Chef Hot Cakes, Hair by Lauren Perkins, Make-up by Jessica Biehl, Musician Peter Richardson, Officiant Jessica Sellers, Rentals by MS Events and A&A Limousine for buses.
