Shannon & Zac's September 24th Wedding | Shannon & Zac
All of the wood knocking worked for Zac. All day I would tell him that it wasn't going to rain and he would make everyone knock on wood. I'm happy to say that Shannon & Zac had NO rain for their entire wedding day! The weather was perfect with the over cast skies. Shannon & Zac were married by Erik Bonkovsky after a 7 1/2 year relationship on September 24th, 2011 at Keswick Vineyards. Shannon was escorted down the aisle by her father while harpist Eve Watters played. Some of the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces were done by Blue Ridge Florist. Guests enjoyed food prepared by Groovin' Gourmets out of Richmond and played yard games while photographer Don Mears and his wife Lindsay took photo's of the couple and their families. After dinner the guests danced the night away under the Sperry tent, provided by Skyline Tent Company, with DJ Derek Tobler. The evening was spectacular and a special thanks for the crew from Barb Wired for handling all the details to make Shannon & Zac's wedding a day they will never forget. Congratulations! Erin & Levi's Wedding | Erin & Levi
On September 17th, 2011, Erin & Levi were married by Rev. Richard Fichter at Keswick Vineyards. Erin had worried for the past week regarding the cold front and rain that was heading our way. She prayed and prayed and her prayers were answered. What a beautiful day her and Levi had for their all outdoor ceremony and reception. It was like her prayers were answered when the sun peaked out from behind the clouds right when her ceremony began. Erin shared with me a story of how her and Levi had buried a bottle of bourbon, upside down, that is suppose to give you good weather on your wedding day if you do this exactly a month before your wedding day. Looks like that worked! The overcast skies made it a dream for photographer Cat Thrasher as she captured every moment of the evening. Guests enjoyed food prepared by 20 South Catering and dance the night away under the command of DJ T.D. Layman with Sound Enforcement. Special thanks to Verde Natural Florals, MS Events and Barb Wired.
Allison & Mark's "Metro" Wedding | Allison & Mark
9-10-11 was one of the most popular dates to get married on this year. It was only fitting that a special couple with a unique way of meeting each other was able to have their wedding reception at Keswick Vineyards. Allison & Mark met on the Metro train by chance. Allison got on the wrong train and ended up sitting next to Mark. One stop before Mark was to get off, Allison grabbed his cell phone and punch her phone number into it. 48 hours later they had their first date and have been together ever since. It was only fitting that the theme for their wedding be the "Metro train". Centerpieces for the tables were made by Allison's father and were post with the name of a station. Of course, their sweetheart table had the station they met at; Farragut West. The bridesmaids wore a pewter color dress while the groomsmen wore yellow ties to accent their suits. Beautiful bouquets of sunflowers added to the brightness. 20 South did the catering and Barb Wired was used for event planning. Congratulations to Allison & Mark!
Ashley & Justin's Wedding | Ashley & Justin
On September 4th, 2011, Ashley (goes by the name Cassie) and Justin celebrated with family and friends their wedding at Keswick Vineyards. Cassie and Justin are true soul mates. They have been together for over 13 years! Childhood sweethearts, they can't remember a time when they didn't have each other in each other lives. It was a beautiful ceremony taking place just in front of the vineyard. Cassie had purchased a mantel that her father refurbished to be used for the ceremony. Cassie chose such soft and neutral colors for her reception. She had lots of khaki and neutrals with soft pinks and pops of light aqua. Simply elegant!
Special thanks to 20 South Catering, Eric Kelley Photography, Lora Kelley for Make-Up & Hair, Jennifer Hamlin of Events with Panache, Officiant Virginia Moore, and Albemarle Baking Company.
