Jennifer & Tom Close out the 2023 Wedding Season at Keswick Vineyards

I am so happy that our 2023 wedding season ended with the marriage of Jennifer and Tom on Saturday, November 11th. I can’t think of a more gracious couple and appreciative guests than we had this evening. When we end each wedding season, we are excited, exhausted yet sad at the same time. We get to know our couples and invest so much personal time, attention, and energy throughout the year to make sure we give 110% and more to each of our weddings. So, you can imagine after 53 weddings, you are tired and ready for some down time but, ending with such a beautiful wedding with such a nice group of people, it’s hard not to want just one more☺ So thank you Jennifer, Tom and all your guests for making us all here at Keswick Vineyards to be excited for our 2024 season to begin in April.

I think it is best to give thanks to Mother Nature for this beautiful day. Jennifer and Tom made sure to do the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon the ensure this beautiful day. Because they didn’t live nearby, they sent Keswick Vineyards their bottle for us to bury for them exactly a month before their wedding day. As you can see, this tradition continues to hold up to its myth.

For their ceremony location, Jennifer and Tom chose to be married off to the side of the fountain having that gorgeous yellow sugar maple tree in the background. And instead of having the fountain on, they chose to adorn the water fountain with florals creating quiet the beautiful vision. As you can see by these photos, fall weddings at Keswick Vineyards are always breathtaking!

During cocktail hour, musicians played while catering passed appetizers to satisfy everyone’s hunger. To keep everyone comfortable, portable heaters were scattered around to add some warmth to the air. Also, to add to the comforts of home, beautiful lounge furniture was on hand for guests to get really comfortable!

Upon entering the tent, guests would find their table number on individually labeled apple butter jars. Just look at how cute these glass bookshelves look adorned with the apple butter jars and apples. The significance of these apples and apple butter jars were of the location in Virginia that they had their first date at. What a wonderful day to encompass their relationship journey.

And let’s just look at this tent! Jaw dropping!!! I’m not sure I need to write anything about it. Sometimes pictures say more than words but do notice the greenery on the front of their bar. I personally really like that look.

What more can I say? 2023 ended with us wanting more! It will be a long 4 months while we wait for April but assure that when it does arrive, we will be just as excited for all our 2024 weddings as our couples and their families are! Thank you to all our 2023 couples for a fantastic and memorable year!

And Then There Were Two...

As we entered our last weekend of weddings for our 2023 season, what better way could we start it than with the marriage of Jane & Harrison on Friday, November 10th. Being Veteran’s Day weekend, it was awesome to have so many in the military present for this day, including our groom. Thank you all for your services to this great country of ours! Jane & Harrison had their ceremony off-site at St. Thomas Aquinas which means I missed that great military tradition when the guys do that sword thing for the bride to walk through to welcome her to the Navy with their swords drawn to make an arch. Always one of my favorite things to witness.

Jane & Harrison had one of the most amazing floral decors on their head table. Lined with 380 hydrangea flowers to create this floral runner accented with candles. WOW! What a statement it made. Also, tied on the back of each chair at the head table with a miniature floral arrangement.

This wedding had it all for their guests to enjoy. Immediately as guests arrived they were greeted by 2 glass bookcases with glasses of wine for them to grab and enjoy as they headed to cocktail hour. This is a great idea to keep those bar lines short. While the couple were out taking photos, guests nibbled on large charcuterie boards of cheese and crackers.

Once entering the reception tent guests were not just warmed by the heated tent but also by the candlelight and swagged bistro lights. Just look at how elegant and warm this tent looked! And then to warm their tummies, look at these delicious plates of food that were served. I can personally tell you that the shrimp and salmon dish with risotto was AMAZING!!!!

To finish out the evening guests enjoyed a delicious slice of cake or perhaps a cigar in the gazebo. Also, in the gazebo was one of those old phones that you pick up to leave a voice message for the couple to treasure from their special day.

Title: A Perfect Fall Celebration: Erika and Ryan's Vineyard Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Love was in the air on a crisp November day at Keswick Vineyards when Erika and Ryan exchanged their vows amidst the breathtaking beauty of Edgewood Estate. The happy couple was blessed with an ideal blend of warmth and coolness from Mother Nature, making their special day even more memorable. Join us in reliving the magical moments from their charming fall wedding on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Erika and Ryan had a vision for their wedding day, and they couldn't have asked for better weather. Their choice of a November date ensured that they wouldn't have to endure excessive heat, and their wish was granted. The sun warmed the day, casting a gentle glow that kept the cooler fall temperatures at bay. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the cooler weather set in, creating a delightful atmosphere for their evening of dancing and celebration.

The venue choice was nothing short of magical. Erika and Ryan decided to exchange their vows in the middle of the private driveway at Edgewood Estate, enveloped by vineyards on either side and framed by the majestic mountains in the background. To add an extra touch of romance to the ceremony, their talented florist erected an incomplete arch adorned with florals and greenery, providing an enchanting backdrop for the altar.

Erika and Ryan's officiant had a brilliant idea that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of their modern wedding. Similar to a previous officiant earlier in the year, he asked all the guests to take out their phones and capture a photo at the very beginning of the ceremony. After this brief moment of shared joy and connection, the phones were tucked away, ensuring that the rest of the ceremony was enjoyed in the moment.

While the peak of fall foliage had graced the area the weekend prior, the setting was still adorned with plenty of leaves, creating a picturesque backdrop for Erika and Ryan's big day. The vineyard and trees provided a stunning canvas of reds, oranges, and golds, enhancing the beauty of their wedding.

From the smiles on their faces and the love in their eyes, it was clear that Erika and Ryan were overjoyed on their wedding day. Every moment captured in photographs tells the story of a couple deeply in love, surrounded by the splendor of nature and the support of their loved ones.

Erika and Ryan's wedding at Keswick Vineyards was a perfect blend of nature's beauty and modern romance. Their thoughtfully chosen date, picturesque venue, and unique officiant touch made for an unforgettable day. The backdrop of autumn colors and the couple's radiant happiness created memories that will last a lifetime. We wish Erika and Ryan a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and more beautiful moments like their wedding day.

A Heartwarming Fall Wedding at Keswick Vineyards: Jessica and Xian's Love Story

On a crisp November 3rd evening, the love story of Jessica and Xian unfolded at the picturesque Keswick Vineyards. Their wedding day, a celebration of love and commitment, unfolded against the stunning backdrop of fall foliage, despite the weather being cool and a frost warning looming over the night. The peak saturation of fall colors might have passed, but the couple still captured the essence of autumn beautifully.

A radiant wedding party of 20 close friends and family members joined Jessica and Xian on their special day. The bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in champagne and rust-colored dresses, echoing the warm hues of the fall season. The groomsmen, dressed in elegant grey suits, exuded sophistication and style, complementing the overall atmosphere of the wedding.

Jessica and Xian's faith played a significant role in their love story and their wedding. It was clear that their shared values and deep devotion to their faith were the foundation of their relationship. To incorporate their faith and their loved ones into their celebration, the couple asked their guests to highlight their favorite Bible verses and sign their bible as their guest book. This unique touch added a deeper layer of meaning to their special day.

One of the most touching moments of the wedding occurred at the conclusion of the ceremony, when the entire wedding party encircled Jessica and Xian. Surrounded by love, prayer, and the support of their dearest friends and family, the couple embarked on their journey as a married couple. This heartfelt gesture symbolized the love and faith that would guide them through their life together.

Jessica and Xian's wedding at Keswick Vineyards was a heartwarming testament to love and faith. It served as a reminder that love will always find a way to shine through, just like the warmth of the sun on a chilly fall evening. The day celebrated their unwavering commitment to each other and the love and blessings of their friends and family who were inspired by their shared faith and deep love.
