Wine Box Ceremony
Finishing out our triple wedding weekend was Marya and Anthony with their Sunday, October 9th wedding at Keswick Vineyards. What a gorgeous fall day they had! The colors are just starting to make an appearance which makes such a beautiful back drop for photos.
Marya & Anthony chose to have their ceremony in the middle of Edgewood’s private driveway, so the ever-changing colors of the Southwest Mountains adored their background for all their guests to admire. I just love being able to be witness some of the heartwarming things that take place “behind the scenes” such as this loving kiss from Marya’s dad to her just before they walk down the aisle.
Being married at a winery, I love it when our couples somehow incorporate some sort of wine theme into their day. Marya & Anthony chose to do the wine box at their ceremony. For those who don’t know what that is, let me explain. The couple has a wine box made that has their name and wedding date on it. Inside the box is a special bottle of wine. Marya & Anthony chose a 2017 Heritage bottle of wine because 2017 is the year they met! Each of them writes a letter to one another and seal it in the box along with the wine. During the ceremony the couple locks or nails the box close and are not allowed to open it until a future set time like their 1st anniversary or 5th anniversary. At that time, they will open the box, enjoy the wine, and read each other’s letter. It is recommended that the bottle be replaced with a new one (perhaps a bottle with the year they were married) and write new letters to each other and seal away to be opened again in another 5 years. The box also can be opened early if your marriage hits a bump to hopefully remind you what you love about each other.
Another little touch that I liked about this wedding was the tapestry hanging at each bar that listed the beverages being offered. First time for me to see this and I thought it was a very nice touch versus the typical framed sign on the bar.
Everything about this wedding was just beautiful! I just love how the tent looked at night! Marya & Anthony added greenery to the tent poles to bring that outside garden feel under the tent. And the food from C&O, delicious!

Would You Look At That Bridal Party!
Sara and Corbin were married at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, October 8th, 2022. To say that their day was filled with all their friends and loved ones would be an understatement. Sara and Corbin may have had one of the largest bridal parties I have ever seen! I mean just look at this huge group!
You could just tell how much love and support this couple had from those around them. Their friends and family were over the moon excited for these two love birds to tie the knot! The attitude of this group was extremely positive from start to finish. The guys especially had a great time in the grooms cave before they started getting dressed for the ceremony. We love seeing these bridal parties make themselves at home in their bride and groom suites!
One of my favorite parts of Sara and Corbins' reception was the way they had their florist dress up the entrance to the tent. This really makes for such a beautiful entrance into the reception that is guaranteed to attract guests attention!
This couple truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and we feel honored to have been their venue!

Fall Is In The Air!
Every year in October, we enter our busiest time of year here at Keswick Vineyards. October is a jammed packed month here at our venue and in today’s blog you will see why! Caitlyn and Mike were married here at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, October 7th, 2022. This was the first weekend where you could really tell fall was in the air. The weather was perfect during the day and got a little chilly one the sun went down but since our tent has heaters, guest remained cozy inside the tent!
This couple selected a few design choices for their wedding that I particularly loved! I love how their guest’s names were on the chargers with a piece of dried fruit. I hadn’t seen this done before but it looked great with their fall florals. I also loved the more 3D look that their welcome sign had that gave it some dimension!
Lastly, lets take a look at the delicious food options they had. I mean who doesn’t love a pasta bar at a wedding! One can never have too much pasta! Also, take a look at the beautiful mini pies they had provided by Sugar on Top!

Making The Most of a Rainy Day!
Emilie and Diego were married at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday October 1st, 2022. This was the weekend Hurricane Ian hit. In the beginning of the week, it looked like it was going to be pouring rain all day but when wedding day came around, the sun come out here and there! Emilie really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and they made that happen!
The color scheme of this wedding was absolutely perfect for fall. i love how the bridesmaids were in olive green and dust orange but then the sisters were in gold. I though this was really unique and beautiful. Just look how stunning this bridal party looks!
They also had a very unique photo booth set up provided by Marigold. This was a great way to still have a photo booth area for guest entertainment but not take away from valuable space under the tent! Look how cute this photo booth is.
Lastly, one of my favorite parts of this wedding was how they rented furniture from Paisley & Jade to incorporate their wedding colors under the tent. This also provided a nice relaxing seating area for their guests! Also, look at the incredible chandeliers provided by Blue Ridge Lighting.
