Jeux, Joie, et Amour: Celia & Will’s Game-Filled, French-Inspired Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Celia and Will’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on October 19, 2024, was a perfect blend of fun, games, and personalized touches. This was the second wedding of a popular fall weekend at Keswick, and they made sure their celebration was unique and full of life!

The ceremony took place in front of Edgewood Estate, with the fountain and the magnificent sugar maple tree as their backdrop. While the sugar maple was just starting to turn, the stunning red maple provided a beautiful pop of color, framing their ceremony location perfectly. Guests who couldn’t attend in person were able to share in the moment, as the couple live-streamed their ceremony—a heartfelt gesture that showed how much they valued their loved ones.

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a collage of photos showing Celia and Will through different stages of their lives and relationship. Another unique touch was the table assignment display. Celia’s father discovered clear bracelets that resembled Apple watches, with each guest’s name and table number printed on them. Later, when the dancing started, these bracelets blinked in sync with the music, lighting up the dance floor and adding a playful, vibrant atmosphere.

The reception was equally memorable, with elevated floral arrangements, centerpieces featuring shades of green that matched the bridesmaids’ dresses, and linens that brought the vineyard’s natural beauty into the décor. The table numbers were a fun twist—wine corks with cut-out paper flames displaying the table number. It was a detail that I hadn’t seen before and perfectly reflected the couple’s creativity.

Celia’s French heritage was highlighted through the food, with appetizers like pâté and desserts that included delightful macarons. Each table also had a quiz with questions about the couple, adding a fun, interactive element to the reception. Guests competed to see which table knew Celia and Will best, and the top three tables faced off in a tiebreaker. The winning table received homemade mugs crafted by Celia herself, a personal and thoughtful prize.

Of course, the fun didn’t stop there! Guests enjoyed a photo booth and were even able to use a CO2 spraying gun provided by the DJ, which made for an exciting dance floor experience. The night was full of energy, laughter, and creativity, perfectly capturing the playful spirit of Celia and Will’s relationship.

From the thoughtful touches to the endless fun and games, this wedding was a true reflection of the couple's personalities and their love for each other and their guests.

Tucker’s Tail-Wagging Celebration: Angela & Jarrod’s Unforgettable Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Angela and Jarrod’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, October 18, 2024, was the perfect kickoff to another triple wedding weekend at the vineyard. Angela, known for her meticulous attention to detail, wowed her vendors with her perfectly crafted documents. Many were asking her, "What software did you use?" because everything she touched seemed beautifully organized and flawless. But was this really Angela and Jarrod's wedding, or was it all just an elaborate party for their beloved dog, Tucker, who graciously let his parents borrow the spotlight?

Tucker, who clearly means the world to Angela and Jarrod, was a star in his own right. After all, he had a pivotal role in the ceremony! A special trainer had worked with him to ensure everything went smoothly, and boy, did Tucker deliver. First, he was given the command to head to the altar to join his dad, Jarrod. Then came the big moment—Angela made a secret entrance, emerging from the back of the vineyard. Tucker received the command to "go find Mom," and off he went to lead her down the aisle. It was a flawless performance, making his parents beam with pride.

During the ceremony, Angela and Jarrod chose a symbolic sand blending ritual to represent their union. Angela had one color of sand, Jarrod another, and the officiant added white sand to signify God’s presence in their lives. Together, they poured their individual sands into a single glass container, symbolizing the blending of their lives, never to be separated again—truly a beautiful moment.

After the ceremony, the entire wedding party headed to unearth the bottle of bourbon they had buried exactly one month earlier. The Southern tradition paid off! The fall day was nothing short of spectacular, with vibrant foliage and crisp weather, making the celebration even more magical.

Guests had a blast during cocktail hour with a personalized crossword puzzle on a dry-erase board. The clues were all about Angela and Jarrod, offering a fun way to test how well everyone knew the couple. There was also a photo booth for capturing all those candid, playful moments that guests won’t soon forget.

During cocktail hour, guests not only enjoyed the fun crossword puzzle and photo booth but were also treated to live music by Matt Johnson, a talented performer who made it to the Battle Rounds on The Voice. His incredible performance added a special touch to an already magical evening, making the celebration even more memorable!

The reception took place under Keswick’s expansive Aurora tent, beautifully adorned with greenery climbing up the center poles and a stunning display of candles as centerpieces. The soft glow throughout the evening created an intimate and romantic atmosphere. And, of course, no wedding is complete without cake! Angela and Jarrod’s cake was not only delicious but also came with a special touch—a little figurine of Tucker, their furry family member.

From Tucker’s star moment to the gorgeous fall weather and the love-filled details, Angela and Jarrod’s wedding was as heartfelt as it was fun. It was a day they, and their guests, will cherish forever!

Faith, Love, and a Perfect Fall Day: Caroline & Patrick’s Christ-Centered Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Caroline and Patrick’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Sunday, October 13, 2024, was the perfect conclusion to a beautiful fall weekend. The weather was picture-perfect, with the vineyard’s trees showcasing vibrant autumn colors, adding to the natural beauty of the day. But what stood out most was the couple’s unwavering faith in God, which was reflected throughout their ceremony and celebration.

Caroline and Patrick, both deeply religious, made it clear that their relationship is grounded in their Christian faith. From the moment the day began, you could feel the spiritual significance of their union. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, wanting that special first look to be as Caroline walked down the aisle. Capturing that emotional moment, you can see the love and joy in Patrick’s eyes as he sees his bride for the first time.

Caroline and Patrick’s ceremony, set in front of Edgewood Estate with the fountain as their backdrop, was filled with meaningful spiritual moments. After being pronounced husband and wife, the couple took communion together as their first act of marriage, symbolizing their deep faith and the central role of God in their relationship. It was a beautiful and intimate moment shared with their guests, who joined in singing a hymn. Once they returned to the altar, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and in a perfectly timed and symbolic touch, the fountain came on, marking the joyous beginning of their married life.

In a beautiful nod to their beliefs, Caroline and Patrick asked their guests to sign a special Bible instead of using a traditional guest book. Each guest was encouraged to find their favorite scripture passage and leave a heartfelt message for the couple. This unique tradition added a personal and spiritual layer to their celebration, ensuring that their wedding day would always be remembered through God’s word.

The reception featured a thoughtful touch with regular banquet tables instead of king or farm tables. These 30-inch-wide tables required simpler floral arrangements down the center due to their narrower width. While the look was elegant, it is worth noting that banquet tables don't provide as much space between plates, especially if seating guests directly across from one another. For those considering a family-style dinner, these tables might pose a challenge, as there wouldn't be enough room for shared platters. With banquet or king tables, linens are a must, unlike farm tables that can go without. It all comes down to the style and atmosphere you want to create, and Caroline and Patrick’s choice offered an intimate, classic setting for their reception.

The evening concluded with a sparkler departure in front of Edgewood Estate and the fountain, providing a dazzling send-off for the newlyweds. Surrounded by their loved ones, many of whom were part of their Christian fellowship through Young Life, Caroline and Patrick left with hearts full of love and faith, ready to embark on their new journey together as husband and wife.

Their wedding day was not just a celebration of love but a testament to their commitment to God and to each other, and it was a true honor to witness such a beautiful expression of faith at Keswick Vineyards.

Love, Laughter, and Velvet: Jack & Josh’s Magical Fall Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Keswick Vineyards hosted the spectacular wedding of Jack & Josh, marking the second celebration of a triple wedding weekend. As one of Charlottesville's premier wedding venues, Keswick always shines, but this event was a visual delight from start to finish.

Jack and Josh brought their personalities and style to life with their wedding attire. Jack wore a dark green velvet jacket, while Josh opted for a rich burgundy velvet jacket, perfectly complementing each other. Their wedding party followed suit, dressed in a stunning combination of black, dark green, and burgundy, adding to the wedding’s vibrant and warm color palette.

The ceremony took place in front of Edgewood Estate, with its iconic fountain serving as the perfect backdrop. The aisle and back row of chairs were lined with greenery in fall hues, beautifully echoing the colors of the changing vineyard. It was a picturesque moment, with the warm autumn scenery of the vineyard enhancing the beauty of this special day.

Jack and Josh's wedding planner did an outstanding job of creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and masculine. An iron chandelier hung above the dance floor, casting a warm glow over the space, while a pink couch and green velvet chairs in the lounge area added a luxurious, inviting feel. You couldn't help but want to settle into that couch with a drink in hand, enjoying the view of everyone celebrating on the dance floor.

The tented reception was nothing short of magical. A long farm table served as the head table, with gorgeous fall foliage suspended above it. The candlelit iron chandelier over the dance floor, paired with iron table numbers, further enhanced the elegant yet rustic feel of the evening. And those desserts! Guests were treated to delicious cupcakes and an impressive donut wall, adding a fun and playful touch to the reception.

Keswick Vineyards takes pride in celebrating love in all its forms, and this wedding was no exception. Jack and Josh's beautiful union was filled with joy, love, and an undeniable sense of community. Keswick is proud to welcome couples of all backgrounds and orientations, providing a breathtaking venue where love stories can unfold in the most memorable way.

It was an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and love, and we're so glad to have been a part of it!
